Baby Gowers

The first pic is in... It is not a very clear pic but the baby's head is on the bottom, sorry that's all I got :) We went to the Dr. yesterday and everything looked great with the baby. "He" for the sake of Rob's sanity right now, wouldn't stop moving. "He" was all over the place. Due to the blood clots that I had in January there are going to put me on Levenox injections everyday. Rob had to give me these shots in January when I got my blood clots so he is almost a pro. All is all we are greatful to be at this point and we will do whatever we need to do.

San Diego

We went with my family this past weekend to San Diego. We had a fantastic time.

We hit the zoo, wild animal park, sea world and my favorite sea port village. I could have stayed another week! It was really nice being able to spend time with the family and relax....

Update... I am actually feeling pretty good. I have only thrown up once. And that was one too many times for me. I really hate it! We are going in on the 17th for another ultra sound so keep your fingers crossed.

Oh yeah and I cut my hair off! I have had it like this before but honestly I LOVE it.

It feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. And instead of taking 30 min to blow dry I am down to 10! So in a way I am kinda going green. Sorry for the ugly self portrait but I hate posting with out pics....

Halloween...

Maddin and Colton came to my office on Halloween to show of there costumes and to
collect the bag of sugar that Auntie Bree and Uncle Rob got special for them.... Sorry Shay :)

Once again Rob carved our pumpkins... However since I picked the mummy for mine I ended up helping carve it out. It wasn't easy :) Rob once again made a pretty neat "Gowers Manor" pumpkin.

last trip to little sahara for the year...

We went out one more time before winter~izing (sp?) the camper. I debated on whether or not to go as I didn't want to do anything that I shouldn't, but it actually was pretty relaxing. We did the rent a kid thing again to :) We actually took a family friend Cody who really isn't a kid - he is 16... so I better get that straight. So it was actually twice as nice as neither Rob or Cody let me do anything....Oh except breakfast, oh and lunch and ya dinner too :) But that's okay.... I have this thing about boys and camping and germs. I'm not saying that my wonderful hubby is dirty. I just think that before you get into the chips you should wash your hands.... even if you just did :) (maybe they wish I would have stayed home, ha ha!) I slept, read, and chatted with the other dune wifey's . Here are some pics that our friend Kami took as I didn't get to out so no pictures. We took both of the four wheelers and the Rhino but again the Rhino was the favorite. If you love 4 wheeling and you are thinking about a Rhino.... We LOVE ours! (well maybe your hubby is......) I think that Rob has turned me into a mountain girl.... with a camper and a shower......

no good very bad dreams....

Okay so I have said it a million times and I will say it a billion more.... I am in complete bliss with my current situation. With this bliss comes fear. And it is not helping that I can not get a complete night of sleep with out some sort of off the wall dream. Last night I had a dream that I was in the ER for stomach pains. My Dr was the Dr. off of Celebrity Detox with the grey hair and glasses - I can't think of his name. Any who I finally woke up with a bladder so full that my stomach was hurting. BUT is this normal????? I seriously would like to know. I am tired during the day but even when I don't dream I still find myself waking up 2 or 3 times a night just to stare a the clock.

Very blessed....

We got test results back from the HCG tests that we have been doing this week. My HCG levels are more than doubling which is fantastic news. I think I pushed the Dr. into doing these extra tests but I am a wreck. Is this normal????? The Dr. has also, as a precaution put me on progesterine supplements which could be adding to the hormonal mess inside me. I don't care if I am throwing up the entire time or if I get so big I can't get into my SUV (sarcastic), this blessing is worth it!

Thanks so much to everyone that has called, emailed, and prayed for us. We are so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends in our lives.

Coming June 09......

Baby Gowers.... We are so very excited!!!! After trying for a very long time our dreams have come true. We went to the Dr. yesterday and got some suprising news...... We're expecting!
We are still very much in the "wow" state. It is still early but we are so excited. Keep us in your prayers!

Falling into October.....

October means Halloween and fall decorations....

I spent most of Friday and all day Saturday getting my house decorated. I love decorating and Halloween is up there next to Christmas as far as decorating goes for me....

I made some letter for my friend Kirby to put above her new baby boy's crib.

They turned out really cute....

And for Maddin's birthday I made her a memory box that she could hide under her bed and put some special memories in. I already started filling her box... I found her kiki (binky) while Rob and I were moving the treadmill in one of our spare bedrooms. I admit I was quit emotional when we found it. A binky isn't something that is usually found at our house although we long for it to be a common occurrence, I don't know why but it triggered some tears.

Happy 5th birthday to you! I can't believe that 5 years ago we were going crazy with excitment awaiting your birth. You have brought so much joy and happiness to our entire family. I am so lucky to be your Auntie (or Bree Bree...). You have brought me so much joy into my life.

drivers license please....

Not a fabulous way to start out a Monday.... So this morning on my way to work guess what?
Yup, I got pulled over. I admit this past couple of months I have been in my own world. BUT honestly I wasn't even paying attention to how fast I was going. I am ALWAYS complaining about the "speeders" that fly by my house and what did I do... THE EXACT SAME THING!
But in my defense.... I really didn't know that the speed limit was only 25.

So picture this.... I am in my car with curlers in my hair - and my makeup bag open on the seat next to me - no seat belt - but I am wearing this really cute sweater today that I got over the weekend. The officer came to my window and got my drivers license and registration. I thought this would be a good time to call Rob - ya uhm no. I started crying which soon turned to uncontrolled sobbing. The hormonal monster that lives inside my body stuck her head out..... The officer came back to my window told me that there wasn't any reason to be crying and gave me a warning. WHAT? No ticket? I am still amazed and very perplexed but a little happy that I can still get out of a ticket.

BUT - YES LESSON LEARNED. I WILL BE PAYING ATTENTION AND BUCKLING UP!

Short trip to the dunes....

This past weekend we decided to take a trip to the Sand Dunes since it was getting cooler. Rob asked me to call my sister and invite my nephew Colton to go. At first he said no and then called us back later and said that he changed his mind. We had so much fun with him. He mimicked everything that uncle Rob did even to the point of refusing to eat pickles - which he LOVES! It was cute and I know that Rob got a kick out of it.

The first night we were there we rode over to Sand Mountain and the entire trip over there Colt kept telling me to do what Rob was doing and to go faster. When we got the mountain he asked me to take him up there. I have done it before on Rob's bike and it is easier as it is much faster but the one and only time I took mine up there I didn't like it as it went to slow. Rob ended up taking Colt on my bike and he loved every second of it. My sister almost dies when she heard but he was in good hands and had his helmet on!

When Colt saw Rob jump the first time he told me that it was amazing. Hopefully someday Rob and I will be able to bring our little person to show him some firsts. It really was a lot of fun. Colt actually didn't want to go home.... But when you have Auntie Bree and Uncle Rob and your disposal and catering to your every need....why not, right?

weekend fun...

This weekend to say the least was CRAZY BUSY! It started off with me hosting a baby shower for Kirby. Which doesn't sound to bad but Rob decided to take the dogs and go camping ~ don't get me wrong it was nice thinking after the shower I would have my house to myself and the quiet would be nice.... I might even get a book read. WRONG. That means I have to get him ready and then get my house party ready.... But it was fun. After the party Maddie asked me if i wanted to have a sleep over at her house on Saturday night - how could I say no. So after the shower we cleaned up my house and I headed for Westpoint (it is an hour drive). On the way since I had Maddie with me we decided to go get our toes and nails done. It was really fun just getting to spend some time with the cutest neice ever! So Auntie Bree slept on the couch with Madd & Colton. It was fun (big yawn)!!!! The best part was waking up at 6:30 to go for a bike ride.

It actually was a very pretty morning. The kids were fun. I took this pic on my phone and sent it to Uncle Rob which resulted in a phone call asking if someone stole my bike ~ real funny! The kids had a lot of fun and so did I, I wish we lived closer to spend more times like this together.

Rachel ~I just read on you're blog what I have been thinking! Rob and I went camping this past weekend with some friends. I got to work this am and I had some pics that they sent me from the weekend. YUK!!!!!!!!! I didn't realize how out of control I am in regards to my weight. Seriously I don't know what the deal is. I swear when I look in the mirror I see a person that I don't know. I need to fix this and become the beauty queen I know I was meant to be!

So thanks to my beautiful neighbor I just got the nudge that I really needed. So as of right now I am weighing in at 508 pounds. I know yuck!


I will be updating you on my first pound lost!
