4 Months....

This was a sweet message from Christy - our sweet friend that watches her during the day!!!

I can't believe that my baby is 4 months already!!!

Addison is hitting all of her milestones right on target and doing fabulous!

She is weighing in at 12.8 lbs. The Dr. told us that she was going to be tall, skinny and smart... as her head was in the 75% and the rest was below 50% =)

At her 4 month appointment the Dr was checking her out and noticed an ear infection.

We didn't even know that she wasn't feeling good as nothing had changed. She is always so happy and cuddly!!!!

3 Months.....

Addison is 3 months (well 14 weeks today, I'm slow)! She is growing up so fast. She always has a smile for Mommy and Daddy. I LOVE this lil girl so much!

Today is a new day...

and I'm tired of my clothes getting tighter everyday. So lets pretend that all four people that read my blog are very interested in my weight. And you really want me to succeed in my effort to loose the 500 lbs that I carry in my behind! SO to help with my effort I would ask that you all start referring to me as Chubs. I think that this would be a good reminder of the weight I need to loose. Also as a reminder I am thinking that a poke in the belly is also a good idea - just not too hard, I'm in the process of getting rid of my black and blue tummy (woot woot! no more shots!) Now to the hard part.... EATING. I will no longer be eating human food. I am going to take on the eating habits of a rabbit. Don't worry I will post bikini pictures shortly after I achieve my new figure and learn how to use photo shop!

oh Daddy!

Funny story.... well it was to me (I have a sick sense of humor as you all know).

Rob called me this morning after he dropped Addison of at the babysitters. Apparantly in his rush to get out the door his hands were full so to help he put his gun in the diaper bag.

I don't want you to think that he just left it there.... when he remembered he turned around and went back. Our wonderful Christy met him at her door with gun in hand.

It's going to be a tight race for father of the year! But we still love you babe (and daddy)!

2 Months!

The party is over.... well sort of =)

Adds first kiss =) She loves to lick stuff so mean mommy put her next to T and yes she like to lick boys too. We have this habit "licked" before too long....

T is our neighbor that is 2.5 weeks older. It was nice to have someone going through the same things as me and it's been fun to have play buddies while I have been home.

I am officially back to work. We have had the best summer of our lives and I know that we will continue to make more special memories. It was just nice being with my bug all day everyday.

I will try and catch up with the past but for right now here is some pics from my time at home.

We are so blessed to have Addison in our lives. She has brought a new meaning to our lives and has definantly put things in perspective as to what is truly important. For now we have also decided that paying the mortgage is top on our list so back to work I go!

We wished upon a star and our dream came true...

Addison Ellen was born on June 3rd at 5:55 pm. She was 6 pounds 6 ounces and 19 1/2 inches long.

We are in heaven! Sorry for not posting sooner ~ we will be better at posting sooner.

the dunes and....

We went on our last trip as single parents (that is what Rob kept saying) - I tried to explain to him that we don't have kids yet and we aren't divorced but it was just easier to secretly laugh when he said it =) I spent most of the weekend I spent relaxing out side or sleeping in the camper. This was for sure our last trip out as it was really hard getting in and out of the truck and then there is the hike up to our bed in the camper - not to mention the lobster crawl I tried to do 3 times a night for the potty! I didn't take any picture so thanks to our friend Kami here are some...

Brodie was funny on Saturday - after riding in the back of the Rhino with Rob (and Rob's boyfriend Steve) for hours he couldn't stay awake.

All of the chicks were totally in to Brodie's mohawk. It does give him sort of a bad boy look don't ya think =)

Oh and yeah... I don't have ankels anymore! The tan is all I got from this weekend =)

It's a date!

We went the Dr. last week (sorry so late) and we spoke about the plan for delivery. He decided to be on the safe side and start me two weeks early. This is so that it can be planned and I will be off of my blood thinners for 24 hours before. I tried to get him to do it on Saturday - so it would be the 13th and he said that he didn't want the weekend staff, he wanted a full staff. If that isn't reassuring.... But at the same time we are so excited!
We are going to go take the camper out this weekend for the first time this season and the last time for awhile. Then we start the rush of baby showers. I am really excited and I still can't believe that baby showers are being given for me....... it still seems so crazy and unreal!

Just waiting now......

We are done with her room.... We have actually been done for a few weeks! Now all we have is time =) Any ideas how to make time move faster???

Whiskey Tango ~ 10-4!

Like I said in my last post, Rob bought a Bronco to take the engine out of... Well after the engine was removed it was parked on the curb (and thankfully removed by a tow truck this am). So Monday night I pull up from a long day at work to see this.... It was pretty funny and it worked to slow the cars down. Or maybe it was the spray paint on the other side of the Bronco that said, "slow down".

Almost done...

We had a busy weekend.... Rob pulled the engine out of a Bronco that he bought to put into his work truck. That pretty much took all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday. But it's done =)

So while he was busy working I got the bug to get the nursery done. Thanks to my neighbor Jenn I got the nursery completely painted. I love how it turned out. Then thanks to my wonderful sister I got the room put together. I as was so sore at this point that my chair got used for the first time. If anyone is looking for "the chair" you have to hit Babinski's on foothill.

Rob is hanging the blinds as we speak. I will take a picture with my camera, as these pics from my phone don't do it justice.

We just can't wait to meet our little girl!

Getting started....

The bedding came while we were gone so we (Rob) have started on the nursery. Rob was really excited to get going on it. He got the bead board up yesterday and he is working on the molding today. We set the crib up and put the bedding on to see colors we wanted to paint.

We are having so much fun!

We are back from our week in Puerto Vallarta. We had a great time.

There was a lot of relaxing which was very nice. My parents came with us this year which made it more fun to show them things they hadn't ever seen.

I will try to get some pics posted. The one in our title was us at the pool one day. Rob kept getting comments from the staff on his bandanna. It was pretty funny. He tans so fast he can pass for a fellow Spaniard.

HALF WAY!

We are officially half way threw the pregnancy. It seems to have gone by pretty fast... I think with the holidays mixed in there it has helped. I'm hoping with a trip to Mexico in a few weeks and getting ready for her arrival she will be here before we know it. Just not too soon. I need to post some pics so as I get the nursery ready I will get it posted. As for pictures of me... sorry Charlie. I haven't gained a lot of weight so far, I have actually lost 8 lbs as of my last appointment. But i truly feel like I have gained 20 lbs!

I will update again after my appointment next week. She has started to move around quit a bit during the day. I find myself getting off task whenever I feel her. So if you see me and I am just aimlessly staring with a smile on my face, you know that I haven't totally lost it.

Confirmed: It's a GIRL!

We had our ultra sound yesterday and it was confirmed that she is indeed a GIRL!
We are very excited. They checked her out and said that he looks perfect. She had her legs crossed at the ankles again. It was too cute!

18 weeks

We are now 18 weeks and everything is going great. We will confirm the sex on Tuesday, even thought I know she is a girl. My blood tests came back negative for down syndrome, spine bifida, and I can't remember the third one. It seems like everything seems to be falling in place perfectly. I have picked out the bedding I want to use for HER :) . As for a boy I really don't know, I will start looking for something equally as fabulous.

I am turning into a huge slacker! Probably not the best way to start the new year but hey...
I officially have an excuse.

The holidays were great for us. We were able to spend time with family and friends and each other. The day after Christmas we went to fetal fotos where they told us we were having a girl!!! We are very excited.... BUT Rob thinks that something might grow between now and when we have my Dr. do the ultra sound. Either way we are very blessed and will be VERY HAPPY with either or baby girl or boy. As far as names we haven't settled on anything yet. I loved growing up being the only "Bree" in my little world so I would like something a little different. Any ideas? Let me know.
