{wa wa wa weekend}

Lil girl went to have some cousin time with my sister...
My sister called me on Wednesday night and asked if
she could take her to instacare just to check.
She was told just as she figured, it was a bug bite & just to watch it.
This was Thursday:
{my sis called and said she thought we ought to call her Dr}
I LOVE her pediatrician... but I wasn't happy with them on Thursday.
I called the nurse twice and she never called me back...
I think my mommy instincts kicked in.
So we headed for PCMC.
* she was acting fine & said it didn't hurt *
* no fever....*
She was admitted for Preseptal Cellulitis, IV antibiotics.
The worst part being the IV.  Mama was holding back tears.
She got icecream, presents, room service...
We had to laugh, we had dinner in the cafeteria with the family.
Afterwards they went to there room and we went to ours.
Like we were at a freaking hotel or something.

In all seriousness.  What a wonderful hospital that was so very cute with out lil bug.
Our nurse on Friday kept asking Adds to cut his hair - with her new stuff from Mama Judy.
She told him no - and when it was time to get her to try the meds {before we could leave}
he came in with a pigtail and barrettes.  She was giggling so hard.

We spent the rest of Friday making play doh cookies...
**now if we can just get her to take her rx....**
we are going to pick up some different flavored stuff tonight.

xoxo, bree

I know how scary it is to have kids in the hospital and I know how lucky we are to have an awesome hospital like Primarys here!!! Glad to hear she is home and doing better!

Not a fun summer adventure, glad to hear she is doing better ... If you have to have a hospital experience, I would almost always recommend PCMC.

Oh man! One of my daughters had the same thing when she was 2. It can be scary! Glad that everything is okay!
