{Christmas 2011}

I will admit we didn't do everything we wanted to, but we did make this Christmas as magical as possible.

Making memories and keeping traditions are important to me.

Here is a recap of our Christmas:

We woke up to Rob saying, lets throw some clothes on and grab some breakfast.  So off we went in sweats and hats.   After breakfast we went to grab some gift cards... and Rob had another idea... ICECREAM.

After naps we headed to dinner at my mom's.  Prime Rib, need I say more.

My parents got Addison a baby and real makeup.  It is now hidden at my house ;)

Addison also got her Christmas PJ's.  When I noticed I hadn't seen her for a minute, I found her in the kitchen looking at all my mom's christmas knick knacks in the cabinet.  I have memories of all of them.

My parents came over for breakfast.   After that we headed to Rob's family dinner.

**Christmas Bus**

I would like to share an experience with you all, about drinking and driving. As you well know, some of us have been known to have had brushes with the authorities on our way home from the odd social session over the years.

A couple of nights ago, I was out for a few drinks with some friends and had a few too many. Knowing full well I may have been slightly over the limit, I did something I've never done before - I took a bus home.

I arrived home safely and without incident, which was a real surprise, as I've never driven a bus before and am not sure where I got it.

**FYI - there is nothing FUNNY about drinking and driving**

It was FREEZING cold.   And there little guy wasn't too happy about it.

My neice and nephew were surprised on Christmas morning, by a new Puppy {Moose, a Great Dane}.

They brought him over to see Addison yesterday.... Addison LOVED him.  

***but I 'm pretty sure the feeling wasn't mutual***

It totally reminded me of the movie Nemo.  With the little girl and the fish.

That was Addison, without the braces.

coupons...really?

Love love love having a little one. Christmas morning was so magical. Addison had asked Santa for a baby. Sweet Santa brought her a couple. He also brought her a shopping cart and high chair for them. She was so excited.... her favorite thing she received... coupons that Robs mom had cut out and her own book to put them in. She has slept with them under her pillow. How funny is that? What was your kids favorite?
