I'm not sure that anything was learned (Shay told me to remember that she is just one) but I was hoping for more of a lesson. She had fun playing with the other kids...

pho·tog·ra·pher noun \fə-ˈtä-grə-fər\

Definition of PHOTOGRAPHER
: one who practices photography; especially : one who makes a business of taking photographs

I may not be an official "photographer". But I LOVE taking pictures... I would love to quit my job and just get more involved in this. However that is an unrealistic dream right now. There is something called insurance, that is a must. And well we like to play, which involves spending. And then there is just spending in general.. I LOVE that too.

So why can't I just pretend? I think I will.

Also - this is the start of a little something with me and two friends. We all love this and are striving to be better. We decided that we are going to pick a challenge each week and we will all have different interpretations of the challenge. If you want to get involved. Let me know... the more the merrier. This week's challenge was Raw, pictures posted tomorrow.

Fu*!

Robbie called me yesterday and said that Adds needed to talk to me.
Addison: "Hi Mommy!, see Fu*!. Lub you"

On the way home from daycare there where two foxes playing at the fence.
And well... she was excited about the Fu*!.
oh, dear.

it's snowing outside....

and I am really about over it! I am thinking about summer...
and I really want to go on a vacation! I think my goal for next year is to get back on track with our yearly vacations. I think I am ready for some mommy & daddy time. But we all know when push comes to shove it's a different story =)

(2006 Panama)
some of my favorite pics... But for the record I wouldn't go back there, been there done that. And as lovely as these pics are that place reminded me of a swanky 70's porn - NOT that I have watched 70's porn, lol. That is just what comes to mind. Just trust me...

thank you letter from Addie...

Hi Jean & Kelsey!
I just wanted to say THANK YOU for sending me the new swimming suit. I loved it from the second I saw it. I hope you girls are doing well. I have been a good girl, well sort of. I have been trying to put my mommy and daddy in time out A LOT. I don’t know what I am going to do with them. It’s like they just don’t listen, when I say “zip it”. Apparently Christy (daycare) doesn’t think it’s too funny either.

I drew this picture for you guys with my Dora markers. I love “Da da da , da DORA”! Sometimes when I watch “TB” I can’t hear anyone, it sort of puts me into a daze.

Oh and yesterday, I sort of started my daddy’s day out crappy. We sat on the potty and read books, but I just couldn’t go. So when I got off I went to get my babies (they were in time out). And before I knew it I pooped on the floor. You should of heard my dad, I blamed it on “Baster”.
I hope I get to see you girls soon!
I LOVE you both to the moon and back!

Love, Addie

strolling memory lane...

okay more like Odell Lane... Friday I got off work early - it was such a nice day! It was a perfect tease of summer weather. We played in mama's from yard and took a walk down to the Elementary school. The same one that I walked to, so many years ago... It's crazy how many things have changed, but the tiny details that are still there.

Blossoms...
In my baby book there are some pictures of the blossom's from the orchard - my grandpa's orchard. They day they brought me home from the hospital my dad took pictures of the blossoms. Maybe that's why I love this time of year, and the blossoms are always a nice welcome to Odell Lane in the spring time.

His fingerprints are everywhere,
I just look down and stop and stare,
open my eyes and then I swear,
I Saw God Today,
