Flaming Gorge July 2010

This past weekend we went to Flaming Gorge with my family. We had a great time!

I LOVE that we can get together, joke around, and RELAX. My parents did something right... the LOVE that I have for my brother and sister is like no other. And it's sad but I know that all families are not like this.

We spent the weekend boating, eating, and putgut hunting =)

Weekend fun...

This weekend was crazy busy... BUT FUN. We headed out after work on Friday and drove to the Strawberry Pinnacles area. We stayed at the Cook's property and headed to Starvation Reservoir the next day. It was Addison's first time in the boat. She LOVED the water, not the boat... just the WATER.

Next weekend will be SUPER FUN.... we are off to Flaming Gorge with my family!!!

Stoping to smell the flowers...

Last night I was out on the porch... thinking I could maybe get a **quick** picture of Adds. I told her to look at the flowers. She walked over to the flowers and took a big SNIFF! I know Shay has tried to get her to do it a few times, but I can't fathom that she remembered. I am thinking she might be a genius, lol.

Our **quick** little shoot ended in a much needed bath!

This weekend was packed with fun =)

Friday night we had a bbq with some of our neighbors.

I LOVE that we have such great friends and neighbors!!!

Saturday we went with Shay's family to Cherry Hills. We had a blast!

I would go back there in a heart beat with the kids. Addison loved the

lazy river, baby water slide, and the pool. I held her on the side and she would jump in

to Rob. I LOVE that she trusts her Daddy so much!

She actually zonked out on the river... so relaxing!

Sunday we took the dogs and went for a walk on the Jordan River Parkway. It was such a nice weekend!!! AND there has to be more to come, right!?!

She's WALKING!

Addison has teased us enough and finally is walking on her own! We went to Ephraim this past weekend camping with my family. Addison was passed between lil mommies all weekend and was ready to just be left alone. On our way home we stopped at my brother's house and played on the grass for a minute. Adds picked up a magic stick and was off.

She has taken steps before but it was always when she wasn't thinking about it. If she had something in her hands or her mind was on something else she was on the go. But the second we would try to get her to do it, she would sit down and crawl. She already had pretty good balance so she is seriously on the go!!!! Mommy doesn't like it, not one bit!

FIRST Bee's Game

Rob was really excited to take Adds to her first Bee's game. We (Adds & I) wanted to surprise him for Father's day and get him some tickets, but we couldn't pin him down with a date that would work...

So I am on my way home last Tuesday when Rob calls and say's that he wants to go to the game tonight...well okay!

Adds is always ready for a good time... but when she has had enough, she has had enough!

We made to the middle of the 4th inning. Thanks Daddy!!! We LOVE you!
