Finally summer.....

Summer is here.... AND WE LOVE IT! We went for a walk the other night and one of the neighbors was lighting fireworks, it smelled like summer!!!!

This is why I LOVE him...

Since Rob never reads my blog, I am posting a text he sent me today...
(Shhhhh!)

I hear everybody complain about there kids and
how they can never do anything.

How in the world did we get so lucky as to have everything

1 year photo shoot with Mommy...

This literally was like a 7 min tops photo shoot. I am finding it easier to just let her do her thing while I snap a few thousand, I'm bound to get a few good pics!!!

I LOVE THIS LIL GIRL!!!!

And our Addie cakes turns 1!!!

This past Saturday June 5th we celebrated Addison's first bday. We spent the the last couple of months planning the celebration (or as it has been called by friends and family, Addiepalooza or the bday extravaganza).

Here is a recap of the day....

We woke up at 7:30 - got out of bed at 8:00....

At 8:30 we woke up the princess and took her to her "daycare". They offered to watch her at there house while we got ready so there wouldn't be an issue with napping- GREAT IDEA!!!!

9:00 Jenn came over - praise the lord!!!

9:10 Jenn and I hauled a 300 lb helium tank upstairs to the playroom to start blowing up the balloons.

9:30 Rob got home bearing coffee........... THANK YOU COFFEE!

9:40 Rob and Jenn spent the next hour or so blowing up 300 balloons and also a nice assortment of Mylar cupcake shaped ones.... (I jumped in the shower)

10:00 I left to run and get the supplies from Sam's club & Zurchers (more gumballs)

11:00 I got home

11:15 panic started to set in.....

12:15 started to get blurry... Jenn was such a huge help!

1:00 Some how all the balloons got put up - the tables were set up - the cotton candy machine and bounce house were delivered.

1:30 - I ran upstairs to get ready - 10 min later I was on my way to meet the Limo with Addison, Colton, and Maddie.

2:20 We pulled up to our house in the Limo. I have to say I hurry and told Maddie to get in front of me. I can't believe how emotional I got. It seemed like there was hundreds of people in our driveway (okay maybe 75). We have been so supported by our family and friends. I truly and so lucky!!!!

I also want to add that in the Limo it wasn't easy.... We didn't put Adds in a car seat. So that meant that she didn't want to be held but crawl around. Which I didn't want her showing up to the party hurt by a sudden stop, so finally on 6200 S. I let her hang out the window, she entertained herself by waiving to people with Colton. BUT if Maddie stuck her hand out - beware Addie wasn't having it.

The rest of the party was so much fun. We had some friends of Rob's come and take "professional" pics - we don't have them back yet. But I will post when they do.

She was cute with the cake. She wouldn't use her hands - just her face and tongue. She was really cute!!!!

She got a ton of presents. In hind sight I really wish I would of asked for donations in her name to PCMC or something. But live and learn, right!

It was so nice to have Jean and Kelsey here also. I LOVE Jean. She is such a strong women. She has been handed some crappy deals, yet she treks and on is an amazing mother and friend. I wish she lived closer!!!!!

This week following the party has been a long one - I think we all need a vacation. We are tired!

Addison has her 1 year appointment with the Dr. today. Stinkin' shots!!!!
